THE RENT-A-RESCUE PROGRAM IS FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT TO JOIN US FOR THE DOG WALK, BUT DO NOT HAVE A DOG OR PREFER NO TO BRING THEIR OWN DOG. Our available rescue dogs look forward to this event all year—for one day they are the center of attention and feel like “normal” dogs. This part of the event debuted last year and was a huge success. The rental fee is $5 (in addition to the $20 walk fee) and allows you to walk a rescue dog.
Grab your human by the leash and head on over to Saluda Shoals Park for an afternoon of dog gone good fun. Proceeds benefit PAALS and the Heartworm Project.

Registration is just $20 per dog entrant and the human gets in free. Or $40 for the entire pack. For $5 more, humans can rent-a-rescue dog! (Parking is free near Redbud Shelter and near the boat launch.)
